2026-09-02: My first flash fiction self-publications are now available in pdf formats, free of charge, under their own category page. I hope you find them enjoyable. I welcome reviews sent to the email listed in the page footers here. I’ve also added a link to my Substack page. Flash and microfiction will be co-published there. If you’d like to read more in-depth creations, many great selections are currently available in the Short Stories section.
2026-08-29: For September 2026, I will be adding a new section to Worlds of the Scrybe. I am creating a small selection of flash fiction stories. These will be made available and free for download. My hope through my short and flash fiction stories is that readers will come to know me and my styles of literary creation. In a few months, when my debut self-published novel (Progenies’ Return: Vermin) is made available, you (the readers) will only be more enticed to enter this strange dystopian world of future humans finding their humanity anew.
Anticipate my first flash fiction offerings to be posted by September 15.
In October, a new short story (Discarded) will be posted as a tale of misfortune and despair, in the spirit of the haunting season.
2026-08-24: An audio version of Any Shelter was launched at midnight. I will make it half-priced for its first week. Elena has done an excellent job in bringing narration and character voices to life. Video ads for both Any Shelter and Hunted, as well as for the website in general, are being posted as well. Any Shelter is a quick little urban adventure, the kind any long-term resident of New Orleans might recognize. A reimagining of the Crescent City after rising sea levels have recreated it as an underwater urban sprawl. Hunkering down for hurricanes when living under the storm surges becomes both familiar and altered.
2026-08-14: Elena and I are working to produce more audio productions of my short stories. Next to be released is expected to be Any Shelter. We are planning to release an audio version of each text-based story on this website. We are hoping for about one release per week for this first five stories available from the launch.
2026-08-12: I am working hard to self-publish my debut novel for full availability in download and print-to-order by the end of 2026. The first part of a Trilogy I have titled Progenies’ Return. The first installment is called Vermin. I have thoughtfully crafted and honed this story for four years. I am also currently working on creating Part 2 under the working title of Vaunted.
I also have unrelated time travel epic in first draft called Pivot being created. Lots more to come. Watch this site for more fantastic creations from my imaginative mind.

A creator of worlds of speculative science and fiction attempting to capture the inevitability and possibilities of humanity. A creator of genuine characters who explore historical, current, and futurism settings juxtaposed with technology, travel, and struggles of survival through gripping and unexpected journeys. Readers who venture forth into my imagined realms are invited to escape into the Worlds of the Scrybe.

People who feign to call themselves "AI artists" too often think of "art" as little more than a time-burning hobby. I view them as falsely claiming an unearned label via misleading means and insultingly trite imitations. I find them to be sadly envious of real artists pouring their hearts out into their medium(s) of choice.
Creating art in any medium is an exercise in self-imposed obsession, perseverance, and dedication. It demands a sacrifice emotion, of time, and of self. Always. It’s not supposed to be easy or effortless. If anything you create is ever going to be meaningful, your self must be ultimately be the final price.
